Jones County, GA (November 21, 2018) – A mother and daughter were killed in a head-on collision that took place.

Jones County, GA (November 21, 2018) – A mother and daughter were killed in a head-on collision that took place on GA-49 in Jones County Tuesday night, November 10. A third person involved in the accident was airlifted to a hospital in Macon.

The two who tragically lost their lives were identified as Jennifer Hammack and her 16-year-old daughter, Erica Luca. They died at the scene of the crash, which took place last evening around 5:23 p.m.

At the time, the two were in a Hyundai that was struck head-on by a northbound Ford F-150 that crossed the center line. The driver of the Ford was in stable condition as of today, according to police.

At this time, police are not exactly sure what caused the driver of the pickup truck to cross over the center line. The crash is still being investigated at this time.
