Macon, GA (October 17, 2018) – Police say that a Macon man was struck by a vehicle several weeks ago, but in an update, they have confirmed that the man passed away due to his injuries on Sunday, October 14. The man has since been identified as 66-year-old George Miller.
At the time of the accident, the Bibb Coroner’s Office confirmed that he had been walking across Spring Street when he was suddenly struck by a Honda Civic driven by 28-year-old Jonathan Turner.
Miller was taken to the medical center in the area and was listed in critical but stable condition. However, since then, he has passed away due to his injuries.
No charges were pressed against the driver.
