Myrtle Beach, SC (December 23, 2018) – Police say that one person was killed in a pedestrian accident that took.

Myrtle Beach, SC (December 23, 2018) – Police say that one person was killed in a pedestrian accident that took place this past week. Now, police have identified the pedestrian.

The woman has since been identified as 28-year-old Christine Lawson of Myrtle Beach. The accident took place on US 701 when she was trying to walk across the road and was struck by a driver.

The Horry County Coroner’s Office came to the scene of the accident and tragically pronounced the pedestrian deceased. The driver stayed at the scene of the accident to aid police.

At this time, the accident is still under investigation.
