Spalding County, GA (December 8, 2018) – Police say that one person lost their life and two were injured in.

Spalding County, GA (December 8, 2018) – Police say that one person lost their life and two were injured in a fatal accident that took place in Spalding County on Friday afternoon, December 7.

The medical helicopter was called to the scene of the accident but was unable to land due to the weather. One person was sent by ground ambulance. The injuries that the two people received were severe in nature.

The call initially came in around 5:50 p.m. yesterday afternoon. The Spalding Fire Department, Spangling Regional EMS, and a variety of other responders came to the scene. Southbound lanes of the highway were closed for about 3 hours during the investigation.
