Spartanburg, SC (November 10, 2018) – In Spartanburg, a 73-year-old crossing guard has now passed away due to her injuries after she was struck by a vehicle. At the time, she had been directing traffic outside an elementary school.

Investigators say that they have not been able to locate the driver that struck 73-year-old Emma Taylor last week in the serious accident. Taylor had been working as a crossing guard for a decade and even received an award for it.

The only thing that authorities know at this time is that the vehicle that struck Taylor outside of the elementary school was a dark-colored sedan. They are still searching for more information at this time.
