Trenton, GA (November 17, 2018) – In Trenton, a tractor-trailer head-on collision took place on Friday, November 16, which led to the death of one of the drivers. An arrest was made.
The Dade County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident to find that a tractor-trailer driver had been driving around on Interstate 59 when his vehicle crossed the median and crashed into another tractor-trailer. The driver was identified as Gustavo Rodriguez-Pagan.
When deputies were called to the scene around noon, they found Rodriguez-Pagan walking around at the scene. The other tractor-trailer driver had been entrapped. When he was removed, he was immediately pronounced dead.
The vehicles involved sustained extremely serious damages. Rodriguez-Pagan was arrested for a variety of charges, with just a few including driving under the influence, homicide by vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the road, and more.
