Union, SC (October 27, 2018) – Police say that two people were killed in an Industrial Road accident in Union. The accident happened yesterday, October 26, around 7:00 a.m.
The Highway Patrol investigated the accident, where they found that a Honda Civic had been traveling south on Industrial Park Road when the driver lost control, veering into the other lane of traffic. They were then struck by a pickup truck.
The driver and passenger in the Honda were killed at the scene. One of the people who lost their lives was identified as a child in the backseat. Their identities have not yet been released.
A second passenger involved in the accident was taken to the hospital with injuries; however, their condition is not known at this time. Nobody else was injured.
Police continue to investigate.
