Anderson, SC (December 29, 2018) – In Anderson, a car accident that happened on Interstate 85 led to injuries in multiple parties, but police continue to investigate at this time.
The accident took place at mile marker 16 and caused a major backup on the highway. All lanes were shut down at one point. By 5 p.m., all lanes have been reopened.
The Highway Patrol arrived at the scene of the accident with multiple firetrucks and ambulances where they found that multiple injuries were reported. One vehicle, a white sedan, had severe damages to the front and sides.
Police are not sure what led to the accident. At this time, they continue their investigation of the accident.
