Anderson County, SC (October 31, 2018) – Police responded to a fatal motorcycle accident that happened in Anderson County on.

Anderson County, SC (October 31, 2018) – Police responded to a fatal motorcycle accident that happened in Anderson County on Tuesday, October 30, around 4:48 p.m.

Troopers said the accident took place within the area of the Liberty Highway and Rogers Road intersection. They found that a Honda motorcycle had been traveling west on the highway at the time when it suddenly struck a Chrysler Sedan that was crossing over the highway.

The driver of the motorcycle had not been wearing a helmet at the time and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 47-year-old passenger was not wearing a helmet and was airlifted to the hospital immediately.

The driver of the sedan did not receive injuries. At this time, the collision is still being investigated.
