Atlanta, GA (November 7, 2018) – A multi-vehicle accident took place involving a MARTA bus that led to injuries. Three passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident.
The accident took place this morning, November 7 and stopped traffic in both directions on the Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. The MARTA bus was struck by a vehicle, which pushed it off the roadway and onto an embankment in the area of the intersection of the Atlanta Industrial Parkway. Police are reporting that the vehicle that struck the bus ran a red light.
There were three passengers on board the bus at the time of the accident and one person received serious injuries. The roadway was cleared around 10:15 a.m.
Police continue to investigate the accident at this time.
