Charlotte, NC (November 26, 2018) – On Interstate 485, a fatal accident took place yesterday morning, November 25, that closed down a portion of the road and took one life.
The accident allegedly took place in the outer loop near Johnston Road around 9:00 a.m. Crews immediately came to the scene of the accident and worked at the scene from early in the morning until 5:00 p.m.
Repairs had to be made to the guardrail because it was so badly smashed. The accident involved two sedans, one of which was severely damaged.
Police have not released information on the party who lost their life. At this time, they continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
