Fairfield County, SC (December 29, 2018) – Police say that a man from Midlands man lost his life following a fatal accident in Fairfield County on Thursday night, December 27.
The Fairfield County Coroner arrived at the scene and pronounced 34-year-old Tamarkquay Coleman dead. He was the passenger in a 2005 Nissan Altima that had been traveling on Highway 215.
The car was involved in an accident around 7:30 p.m. that night around six miles north of Jenkinsville. The driver immediately ran off the side of the road after being involved in the accident.
Tropers do not know if either men were wearing seatbelts at the scene of the accident. At this time, the South Carolina Highway Patrol continues their investigation.
