The accident happened at the intersection with Edwards Mill Road around 11:30 a.m. yesterday. Police say that one or more people were injured in the accident, which involved at least two vehicles. One vehicle had serious damages.

Deputies had the road blocked for quite some time while the damaged pole was being repaired.

Only one customer was left without power in the area following the accident. Lanes were shut down for quite some time.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time.
