Paulding County, GA (December 10, 2018) – Police say that several students were taken to the hospital after a serious.

Paulding County, GA (December 10, 2018) – Police say that several students were taken to the hospital after a serious bus accident that took place in Paulding County today. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident.

Police arrived at the scene on Harmony Grove Church Road to find that a vehicle struck a bus coming from McClure Middle School. At the time, there were 52 students on board.

A total of 15 children were transported to the hospital with various injuries and some to be evaluated. All the students have since been released and are expected to recover. For several hours, police worked at the scene and traffic backups were reported.

Parents arrived at the scene after being notified to pick up their children. At this time, the Georgia State Patrol continues their investigation.
