Whitsett, NC (October 30, 2018) – On Tuesday morning, October 30, multiple people were involved in a five-vehicle accident in Whitsett that led to injuries. Police have since said that all parties are expected to recover.

The accident took place on Interstate 85. Though the parties have not been identified, police said that four motor vehicles were involved and one larger one that was carrying construction equipment. Crews were called to the scene to help clean up the equipment that was damaged and left on the roadway following the accident.

Four lanes were blocked as a result of the accident and police had to clear the scene as well as investigate. All parties who received injuries were cared for. Luckily, none were life-threatening.
